Mischa Mrost

Mischa came to New Zealand from South Africa and enjoyed a childhood amongst the trees in the Auckland Waitakere Ranges. He has a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Auckland. His career in acoustics began with his background in mechanical engineering and construction. He has extensive experience working with project managers, engineers, machinery operators and residents.

Mischa has been involved in acoustic assessments for some of Auckland’s largest roading and construction projects, including Southern Corridor Improvements and AMETI Busway. He has a specialist interest in wind farm developments and has experience in assessing cumulative noise effects from multiple wind farm sites. Mischa has also presented evidence as an expert witness for roading projects.
