The Vodafone Events Centre is a multi-purpose events centre located in Manukau City. The project's design brief was to provide a showcase of the culture, art, entertainment, sport, leisure and the business interests of the culturally diverse population of Manukau City.
Manukau Events Centre has two main venues: the Sir Woolf Fisher Arena with a potential seating for 3000 and the 700 seat Genesis Energy Theatre.
Our Brief
The Marshall Day Acoustics' team provided a range of services for the project including:
- Room acoustics design for both the theatre and arena
- Sound system specification
- Sound insulation specification for the building envelope
- Noise control of building services plant
